Managing innovation and new product development


 Objetives:
               

  • To develop innovation project leaders capable not just of operating/managing projects and processes under 'steady state' conditions but of constantly reviewing and if necessary changing it to deal with an economic downturn and an uncertain environment.
  • To introduce relevant approaches and audit tools to measure and analyze the innovation performance of teams and organizations.
  • To introduce tools, techniques and approaches to managing innovation and disruptive technologies and the ability to critically select and apply these in actual business.

 Requisitos:                
  Tener amplia experiencia en administración de proyectos o haber tomado un curso previo de administración de proyectos como el de coordinación efectiva de proyectos. Enviar evidencia.

  • Fully understand the global pressures driving innovation needs in your respective organizations, how these translate into projects and how these enable the development of an effective innovation strategy.
  • Determine current innovation performance levels of your organizations to reveal weak and strong areas.
  • Understand and be able to implement a process for managing creativity and innovation within your project teams and in your organizations.
  • Understand how to analyze your organizational or project team culture and build a project team that is truly innovative.
  • Develop an action plan for creating a more innovative project team and organization.
  • Understand how project management principles and methodologies can aid the development of new products, processes and services.

  • Understanding and applying methods for selecting potential ‘winners’ and minimizing the risks of failure.

 Acreditación:                

Para considerar este módulo como parte de la certificación Program Manager, es necesario tener una calificación aprobatoria mayor o igual a 70 en la forma de evaluación establecida por el instructor durante el curso. Además, cumplir con el 80% de asistencia en el módulo. Si se cumple sólo con este último requisito, se extenderá una constancia de asistencia.
